As an aspiring data analyst and a new blogger, I can't stop myself from searching for tools and research to help enhance my finance blog. For this post, I will put a hold on talking about personal finance and spend some time discussing my discovery of Google Data Studio.
Google is not only an effective web searching tool but also a universe of an effective marketing platform. Google provides tools for eCommerce sites or bloggers like me to understand more about our audiences via a number of visits, duration of stay and so on. One of the tools I am really impressed with is Google Data Studio.
This tool allows users to upload their datasets and generate appealing reports for the audience. The design of Data Studio is very user-friendly and anyone can create attractive reports with simple steps. Below is the instruction on how to create a report via Data Studio:
This tool is perfect for me as I can start collecting data about personal finance such as Toronto residents' spending habits and create a beautiful report for my audience. Also, I can easily share my reports with others as well. If you are interested in learning about this tool, here is a post that describes in detail the benefits and drawbacks of Data Studio.
To conclude this post, I have a good experience with Data Studio so far as it is such an easy tool to collect data from google platform and it delivers appealing results after a few clicks.
Collecting data is much more easy with a number of open data sources like Toronto Open Data Source, NYC Open Data, let try this tool and let me know what you think about it.
See you next time!

Look Around You... They are used to be money!

Does your room look like this? Ask yourself these questions: Do you feel stressed when sitting in your room/house? Do you get upset or annoyed easily when getting back to your room/house? Do you feel like nothing can be done? Do you feel like you can never find anything in your room/house? Or things just mysteriously disappear? If you answer yes to most of the above questions, your room/house needs a good clean up. According to University of Minnesota, your personal environment can have a positive or negative effect on your mood. The research has shown that rooms with bright light can improve and anxiety. So, you can guess what a messy room can do for your mental health. You can read more about the research here . Other than that, you bought all of them... with your hard-earned money (of course excluding the gift your friends bought you - wait for it, I will come back for it later!). It is no rocket science that you bought stuff thinking they would make you happy but afte...

I just came across an article that beautifully illustrated the information with data. Check this out here . And remember "Time is Money" See you next time!
