Introduction!

I took this picture during my trip to Kyoto, Japan. This was a river near Arashiyama Bamboo Grove.

Hello everyone!

Thanks for visiting my personal finance's blog.
I am currently studying in Analytics for Business Making Decision postgraduate program in George Brown College in Toronto. I have lived in TO for 5 years and have fallen in love with this beautiful city. Living alone in the city, I am grateful to learn so many skills that keep me moving with busy lives here. Saving skill is one of them.
Learning about how to manage your hard-earned money has always been my most desired hobby. And I want to share my learning journey with you. My blog will provide tips and tricks that I have acquired through years on how to better manage your financial situation.
Despite not having a financial background, I am a strong believer in frugal living, in other word, being smart with your money. Frugality doesn't mean that you need to live in deprivation and sacrifice your hobbies. Instead, imagine you can afford that Japan trips that you have been dreaming about or quit that job you hate just by simply cutting on things that are not essential in your life.
If you are intrigued by the idea, let's start saving money together.

Lily

One of the tools I am really impressed with is Google Data Studio. This tool allows users to upload their datasets and generate appealing reports for the audience. The design of Data Studio is very user-friendly and anyone can create attractive reports with simple steps. Below is the instruction on how to create a report via Data Studio: This tool is perfect for me as I ca...

How Much You Spend on Dining Out?

"Backyard Grilling"   by  Christina Schmidhofer  is licensed under  CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 The other day I read the Nielsen article for about the spending habits of Canadian Millenial. According to the article, millennials are the most financially optimistic across generations in Canada. The report further stated that this generation spend the most among their cohorts when it came to dining out. "Canada now has an abundance of restaurants options with eclectic cuisines, which makes dining out a desirable and easy alternative to cooking at home", mentioned about Nielsen report. You can read more about the report here . I have to agree with the report that with the plentiful choices of restaurants, especially in Toronto, cooking at home seems to be boring. However, in my opinion, homecooked meals can be both delicious and interested if we spend a bit of time planning for it. Check out the below video on how to make delicious homecooked meal and you don't ha...
